We service ClayCounty, Downtown Kansas City Lofts, The River Market and Platte County
We are in need of someone in Gladstone going towards 291 and Zona Rosa.
Employees must be available when we need them. Mainly holidays, summer and possibly other times. This is not a 40 hour per week job, however the person that is taking care of an account is the same person. We do not split up those responsibilities. You would need to be able to get the any accout when you are scheduled.
You will need to be able to drive in all kinds of weather.
Pet Sitters will need to have very reliable transportation and enjoy working with animals a must. Pet sitting hours are 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 10:30 pm. These hours are a general idea. Some days we may not need extra help for that long, some days may be more. The person will be responsible for emergency situations and vacation accounts. For vacationers we would like for at least one extra person to work all three shifts so the animals would have just one person going to them. If they do this then the person may only work one or two hours in the morning, the same in the afternoon and then the same in the evening.
Pet Sitters are required to have an answering machine or be able to be reached by phone, pager, etc.
The services that a pet sitter will perform are as follows:
We spend 30 - 40 minutes at each house.
Make sure dogs go out to do their duties. Clean up when walking in neighborhoods.
Must be able to clean litter boxes.
Make sure the animals have plenty of water.
Make sure that the animals have their food as in instructions.
Give any medications as in instructions.
Get mail & papers and put on counter - separate magazines and junk mail from important mail.
Fill in the DAILY REPORT
Pick up house if needed and vacuum or sweep
If any messes, please clean them up
Make sure all doors are locked and secure before you leave
Check gates in back yard before you let the dog out.
If the client takes time to type notes, please sign the note so they know you saw it
Walk dog(s) if requested
Pay close attention to the animals, if you notice any weight loss or other medical problems, please contact Randy or Kristy and we will contact the owner or vet
When we have new clients, you must be willing to go meet with them.
Call at least once a day to update Randy or Kristy so they are up to date on clients and pets in case any questions arise
