PLEASE HELP US IN GETTING THINGS TOGETHER FOR LIBERTY AND GLADSTONE ANIMAL SHELTERS AND FRIENDS OF PARKVILLE ANIMAL SHELTER
WE ARE DEBATING ABOUT EITHER PUTTING A DROP BOX OUTSIDE OUR GARAGE OR SETTING A DAY OF THE WEEK THAT RANDY OR KRISTY WILL PICK UP ITEMS AND DELIVER THEM TO THE SHELTERS

Thanks so much for thinking of us.  We can always use cat litter, cat toys, newspapers, old towels, paper towels, laundry soap, collars (both cat and dog) and bleach.  Hope you all had a wonderful turkey day.  Happy Holidays!

FOPAS Wish List

With the exception of part-time morning help M-F, FOPAS is operated solely by volunteers and we are so grateful for community friends and neighbors! Any items are appreciated and if for some reason they cannot be used by FOPAS, we share with other rescue groups. Nothing goes to waste. Here are ideas for those wishing to support the cats and dogs in our care:

Items that are always, always, always appreciated to keep the shelter going:

  • Regular, dependable weekly volunteers to help clean cages and kennels, exercise and groom animals, participate in adoptions and fundraisers (16 and younger require parent/guardian);

  • Foster Families!! FOPAS covers the food/medical bills but we do ask that foster families transport the animal to Saturday adoptions;

  • Monetary Donations (tax deductible to the extent allowed by law & used for vet bills, medications, supplies, operating expenses and more. FOPAS – PO Box 29121, Parkville, MO 64152);

FERGUSON CHIROPRACTIC HAS A NEW CHIROPRACTOR. SHE IS WANTING TO DO CHIROPRACTIC FOR PETS. WE WILL KEEP EVERYONE UP TO DATE AS FAR AS WHERE SHE WILL BE PRACTICING WITH THE PETS. DR. CHARLA MCFADDEN IS VERY QUIET AND DETAILED IN HER WORK.

WE WILL GET TO YOUR KIDS NO MATTER THE WEATHER, HOWEVER, IF THE STREETS AREN'T CLEAR, WE WILL GET TO THEM AS SOON AS WE CAN. IF WE CAN'T GET THERE SAFELY THEN WE WON'T BE ABLE TO GET THERE AT ALL AND THAT WON'T WORK BECAUSE THEY ARE OUR PRIMARY REASON FOR BEING HERE.
